ball point pen drawing...

had to see if i could still shade with the ball pen...this drawing is like 6 x 4 inches..
was a fun exercise

back to the drawing board...

the past few days have been spent trying to further hone the power of graphite...just a few attempts (in my opinion not successful..) at slow gradiation shading...quite a challenge i must admit.

i kinda got side tracked on the caricature...-look like anyone?-

the key here is to keep breathing and let that lead gently caress the paper and leave just traces of pencil dust in an ever so thin thinny thin thinnest of layers...my problem im noticing is im just rushing it.

the goal im running toward is to be able to not hurry when i draw. lets see what progress comes.

tattoo

so heres my earliest tattoo work on myself...this leg is pretty much thrashed...hehe.. but all tattoo artisists gotta start somewhere right...?
all ive figured out is how to get the machine to spit the right amount of ink and i'm not a hundred percent on that yet ....but out of all ways to put out an image tattooing seems simultaneously the most difficult and entertaining method ive encountered so far
